Summary:Higher Education in Malaysia has gained popularity across the globe as students from all over the world are coming to study in universities in Malaysia nowadays. There are multiple universities in Malaysia that have higher positions in university rankings. This shows the high quality of the higher education facility of the country. With the advancement of technology in today’s world, the standard of education is changing every now and then. The future is now and the universities need to adopt certain changes to go with this technological flow. This paper is discussing on one of the Malaysian universities, UTAR and identifies the changes the university needs to bring along in order to become a leading university and develop a business model that would help them to sustain in this competitive market. The drivers of changes are being discussed for a clear idea and the game changers and their implications are also provided. The proposed ideas can be used by UTAR in the long run.
