Description
Summary:In response to increasing concerns over indoor air quality and health a long term monitoring project was set up at two campaign buildings with existing ambient monitoring stations (see Table 1). The primary purpose of the study was to monitor and analyse indoor and outdoor data to assess meteorological effects and building activity on the transfer of air pollutants into buildings of differing construction. Traffic related pollutant species that are known to be detrimental to health were monitored. The secondary purpose was to produce a high quality long-term data set for indoor air quality assessment and to evaluate the need for an indoor air quality network within London.
