This often leads to the discontinuation of their activities after a few years, resulting in a significant gap in the communities they serve. This paper aims to explore the financial sustainability of CSOs and some of its practical issues within NAMAaffiliated CSOs. In addition, the study also intends to draw attention to some recommendations to the issues highlighted from the viewpoint of industrial experts. The methodology used in this study follows the qualitative research approach which aims to capture the thoughts and extensive knowledge of a few related experts in the field. A total of six NAMA-affiliated CSOs in two countries namely Indonesia and Kyrgyzstan are selected for the interview purpose. A semistructured interview is adopted to investigate a series of themes concerning the financial sustainability of Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) in NAMAaffiliated CSOs. Based on the findings, four key dimensions namely stakeholder relationships, financial accountability, financial sustainability, and the effectiveness of financial operating models are influencing the financial sustainability within NAMA-affiliated CSOs. These findings provide a blue-print and shed light on stakeholder perspectives, practices, and the dynamics influencing financial sustainability within NAMA-affiliated CSOs. Ultimately, the research also provides valuable recommendations for the enhancement of financial sustainability structures within third sector organizations, and later contributing to the overall improvement of their effectiveness and impact.
