As subject matter experts, professors have a unique opportunity and responsibility to contribute to and propagate Values-based leadership in their teaching and learning, research, and publications and other academic activities. In the Malaysian context, the Higher Education Leadership Academy (AKEPT) is a critical organisation that acts as the Institution that coordinates profiling and development programmes for the National Top Talent (NTT) to ensure sustainable leadership in Higher Education Institutions. AKEPT’s mission to develop leaders through holistic leadership initiatives towards excellence is supported by talent management offices in all Malaysian Public Universities. |
