Summary:Online applications are ruling the way businesses run in today's world. Many companies are moving towards online applications not only in business environments but also in the educational perspective. Companies are moving into the e-commerce era but educational institutions are working on improving the efficiency of the way they run their daily activities by improving their online applications. This is also done to help their students and staff in ways such as easier accessibility to information and easier ways to conduct their daily work. The system (OPAGS) is a prototype of a very large system that would be appropriate for any educational based environment, be it a college, university or even at a lower level. What is assured is that the development of such a system is done with the main intention of improving the standard of working in such an environment. It concerns more of a project management based environment. . This report is an extension of the proposal submitted for approval as a Final Year Project. The following paper will present the background of study, problem statement on the problem the current system in terms of users interaction, effectiveness and the HCI properties of the system and the objectives and scope of this study. The methodology used by the researcher is based on the Waterfall Model where two phases which are analyze phase and design phase is covered in this report. It also covers the findings of the research carried out by the research and explained them in terms of pie charts and the functionalities of the proposed system and how they work has also been explained by the usage of use case, class diagram and sequence diagram. Among the implications and contributions of this research is the identification of features that may maximize the likelihood of user satisfaction and return visits to the system
