This report contains 5 chapters in total. The first chapter will present the problem statement that had led to the attempt to develop the project, as well as defining the project's objective and the limits of its scope as a Final Year Project. Meanwhile, the second chapter will provide a literature review concerning the implementation of RFID/Wi-Fi hybrids on the field. Sources will mainly be based on literature by Syed Ahson, Mohammad Ilyas, Stephen B. Miles, Sanjay E. Sarma & John R. Williams. Chapter 3 highlights the methodology taken during the implementation of the project and provides an updated and more in-depth description of all the technologies involved. This will cover all three aspects of the project which are RFID technology, Wi-Fi networking as well as its underlying software programming construct. In Chapter 4, a report on the results of the project is given detailing completed project components as well as reporting on the problems encountered while implementing the project. Chapter 5 will put forth a conclusion for this report as well as concerning the project itself.
