The objective of this project is to develop a neural network system for ethylene oxidation in a catalytic fixed bed reactor. The COMSOL and MATLAB are the software used for this simulation. The scope of study for this project is to model the catalytic fixed bed reactor using COMSOL and train the neural network by using MATLAB software. The network will be trained using data obtained from COMSOL which has been verified by experimental data so that it can predict as close as possible to the actual behavior of the reactor.
