| Summary: | The construction industry has a lot of branches and house renovation is one of it. The trend
of renovating house is popular among house owner nowadays due to many reasons such
as stable household income, the expansion of family and the need for better quality of life.
Although this trend is blooming, many problems are encountered by the house owner and
also the contractors themselves. From the perspective of the house owner, the issue came
from the difficulty in looking for a good and valuable contractor that can complete their
house renovation work. The traditional way of asking around or roaming the town to
acquire a contractor is not very relevant as people are busy with other work. From the
contractor perspective usually is about the payment issue and also the difficulty for start�up contractor to find a job as they did not have the reputation or the credibility that house
owner seeks for their house renovation. To overcome this issue, this paper will discuss on
the digital approach that have been taken in order to solve the problem by developing an
application that could integrate the communication between the house owner and the
contractor. |
