This study aims to assess the coastal morphodynamics of Pantai Teluk Nipah, Pangkor Island using ArcGIS software by considering tidal effect factor to shift the shoreline position based on MSL reference. This research study has applied the method of remote sensing with the use of the Geographical Information System (GIS). Landsat satellite imagery from year 1990 to 2019, 30 years of study period was processed via the GIS software, ArcGIS, for quantification of the rate of change on the shoreline. The previous findings, Morphodynamics of Teluk Nipah (Foo, 2019) showed that certain region of Pantai Teluk Nipah profiles are undergoing severe erosion events where the erosion intensity is up to −6.83 m / year which is under Category 1 Critical Erosion.
