Achieving sustainability in construction is complicated, but one of the most optimal strategies is to select building materials which have a lower carbon footprint. This research aims to develop a decision-making model to choose the best alternative building material for building. The decision model was developed using AHP judgement and Value-based analysis in choosing suitable alternative material for façade. This research is divided into three purposes which are to determine criteria in sustainable building material to apply in the decision-making process, to investigate the criteria of sustainable material to be considered in decision-making model, to identify the suitable alternatives for sustainable building and to choose the best alternatives for sustainable building material.
