However, the wind turbine rotation speed varies according to the angle of prevailing wind. Hence, this paper will cover the process on performance optimization of a roof top transverse axis wind turbine through design enhancement. The performance optimization through design enhancement focuses on modeling a component called ‘End Cap’, analysis and study of several designs of ‘End Cap’ that will optimize the transverse axis wind turbine mounted on a rooftop performance.
