Summary:The prostate cancer is second-most leading cause of cancer-related death in the world, and a better detection model would help detect the cancer at early stage, thus maximizing the chance to cure the patients. In this project, a classification model for prostate cancer would be created with the assistance of artificial intelligence technologies. The characteristics of prostate cancer are extracted from a large set of prostate images and deep learning is applied onto the computer-aided diagnosis (CAD) machine. A machine equipped with a classification model would help reduce the time taken and probable error during early stage of prostate cancer detection.
