Summary:In general, the use of electrical resistivity by geotechnical engineers have been increasing all over the world. It is a convenient method to evaluate spatial and temporal variation of moisture and heterogeneity of subsoil. This research presents the effects of porosity and saturation on electrical resistivity and strength of soil for clay size particles. It was a study about the effects of porosity and saturation on electrical resistivity of clay with size ranges between 0.5 to 2.5μm.
