Summary:Integrity assessment of corroded pipelines is very vital in oil and gas industry. In pipeline terms, even the best designed and maintained pipeline will become defective as it operates through its design life. Therefore, it is necessary for the engineers to assess the integrity of these pipelines. The increasing use of high-technology maintenance such as intelligent pigs is helping pipeline owners to assess the condition of their lines, and if these modern maintenance methods are combined with modern defect-assessment methods, they can provide a very powerful and cost-effective tool. This project is about developing a platform for engineers to assess the interacting defects in corroded pipelines using finite element analysis (FEA). The modeling will be conducted in Ansys software. The results from FEA will be compared to empirical solution that is provided by DNV RP-F101, a Recommended Practice for Corroded Pipeline
