Preventive activities of breast health especially mammogram screening was found to be effective in reducing the mortality and morbidities related to breast cancer. Mammogram screening for example, may reduce death from breast cancer up to 35%. However, uptake of screening is still unsatisfactory and advanced presentation of breast cancer remains. Existing web or app-based breast cancer education lack information on breast cancer screening method that should be done according to the individualized risk category of the user. Thus we designed a Malay medium app and web-based breast cancer education with suggestion of screening method based on personalized user risk category. It also contains vital information about mammogram, prevention of breast cancer and method of breast self-examination which will increase the knowledge, awareness and increases the chance of early detection of breast cancer. The objective is to increase the knowledge and awareness of breast cancer and its screening, thus increasing the chance of early detection of breast cancer through a web-and app- based education.
