Their argument on halal and haram (lawful and forbidden) entertainment in Islam, Muslim attitude towards entertainment and the experiments of implementing “Islamic entertainment”, both in Malaysia and Iran, will be discuss in this paper. Lack of nurturing Islamic entertainment and inability to provide alternatives Islamic aesthetic pleasures are among the problems facing Muslim communities in the era of globalisation. |
