It is argued that the rich cultural heritage in the state is capable of attracting tourists to visit Kelantan. The elements of socio-cultural, handicrafts, traditional games and performing arts are independent variables used in this study. The study shows that local and international tourists came to Kelantan because of its uniqueness in the cultural heritage attractions. Beside its unique culture, Kelantan is able to offer beautiful crystal beaches and fascinating kampung lifestyle. Result from discussions, interviews and observation among tourism stake holders have led to formulation of some suggestions to help further improve tourism development in the state. |
