Oxidative-addition of the tetracarbonyl complex with 1 mol equivalent of bromine, yields the neutral seven-coordinated dibromotricarbonylmolybdenum(II) azine complex. Treatment of the tetracarbonyl complex with 1 mol equivalent of PPh3 gives the expected tri-carbnonylmolybdenum(O)-azine triphenylphosphine substituted complex |
