To banish that activity, JAKIM has released an act to standardize the Halal logo that is only awarded by JAKIM. In this paper, a method on validating Halal status for products or premise using logo identification algorithm through Smartphone is proposed. The proposed Halal logo identification algorithm is compared with the speeded-up robust feature (SURF) and feature from accelerated segment test (FAST) algorithm. All algorithms are executed on the smartphone and experimented using the smartphone camera. The result shows that the proposed method achieved a sensitivity of 100% whereas SURF and FAST achieved 34% and 30%, respectively. |
