are complex and subjective. Moreover, the implementation of digital radio
involved technology, organisation and the readiness of RTM. Radio established
in Malaya (Malaysia) through electromagnetic wave (analogue) in 1920. As a
result of Malaysia formation in 1963, RTM functioned in analogue wave until
present. Astro is the first digital broadcasting station in Malaysia. Astro
officially aired in 1996 and became a push factor for RTM to begin with the
digital project in 2000. |
