Preventive Maintenance (PM) is one of the strategies that can be applied to reduce the machine breakdown problem due to unplanned maintenance. However, the application of PM in term of when is the best time to carry out the PM is an important issue. The answer to this question should be based on an adequate maintenance analysis.
