Interviews and observation techniques were employed throughout the field
research. At a later stage, all data collected was analyzed. The research covered only
Pondok Inabah, Sungai Ikan, Terengganu. Even though similar pondoks exist in
Sabah, Sarawak, Kedah and Singapore, the research does not attempt to make any
comparisons among the various pondoks. The approaches currently used in Pondok
Inabah, Sungai Ikan, Terengganu to rehabilitate drug addicts have been found to be
very effective. At the same time, the belief system and da'wah methodology used
there are also effective and fully in line with the teachings of Islam. |
