This factor has triggered various methods which will be used to minimize the disturbance that may cause the power system voltage collapse. For this project, studies and research have been made to determine how and when the source voltage of a power outage in the system. For the main objective of this project is about to analyze the concept to stabilize the voltage is not stable due to the disturbance effect. Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE)-9 bus system has been selected and voltage stability can be optimized. In order to obtain the stability of the voltage, the weakest bus of high potential causes the voltage collapse in the proposed system using the index to reduce them. The determination of the weakest buses was running on Optimal Power Flow (OPF) and Line Stability Index (LMN) with the filter and the position of the bus in the system can be obtained. In addition, the designing Under-voltage Load Shedding (UVLS) scheme has been observed in this research. Therefore, deciding location of UVLS to install will be determined. This research is performing by using MATLAB software version R2010a. Before the case studies are conducted this system has identified whether it is stable condition by performing power flow using the software.
