People use this oil daily for lighting up the lamp in their house or any other lamps at festive places. Deepam oil can be found in various sizes in the market such as 50ml, 250ml, 500ml and 1 litre. Deepam oil is produced by mixing five oils including Coconut oil, Sesame oil, Castor oil, Neem / Mahua (Illupai) bran oil and Rice oil. The constitution of oil is regionally variable. Usually this mixing process is performed by hand. The essential oils can be bought from manufacturers or extracted using the machine for oil extraction. Most manufacturers simply buy the oils, manually mix them at their plant and sell the Pancha Deepam oil.
