Description
Summary:Chrysomya megacephala developmental stages research has previously been documented. However, no studies have been recorded at Seri Astana's resident area, which has distinct environmental factors like as temperature, humidity, and rainfall from those in earlier investigations. The objectives of this research are to determine the developmental stages and morphological characteristics of a population of C. megacephala from egg to adult stage in a residential area in Seri Astana, using a methodology that involves rearing and monitoring beef under the influence of temperature, humidity, and rainfall in the area. Temperature, humidity, and rainfall are recorded were 30.6 ± 0.48 °C, 67.2 ± 1.31 %, and 6.8 ± 4.80 mm, then for the length of time taken for C. megacephala larvae to develop into adults recorded was 187.7 ± 3.40 hours. Chrysomya megacephala was identified based on morphology-based characteristics. The informations were recorded and, then monitored. This finding is to provide the baseline information on the period of development phases and the morphological characteristics of C. megacephala which should aid in improving the precision of determining Post-mortem interval (PMI) in Seri Astana's residential area.
