| Summary: | Unemployment has always been an issue not just for individuals but for the whole population of countries as well, it is not specific to only numbered countries but it affects all. Throughout the years we thought that the dilemma would reduce but on the contrary it has expanded and increased, bringing about problems that had the potential to risk societal safety as well as security leaving many in poverty and resulted in an
increase of crime rates due to the desperation of not being able to sustain basic needs of survival which included clothing, shelter and food. The common first to experience
unemployment were graduates and though there were many driving factors that resulted in unemployment amongst graduates this study only focused on two specific common factors that were assumed to play a part in unemployment which were Academic Achievement and Job Mismatch This study was done in Negara Brunei Darussalam and was of qualitative means that utilized open-ended questionnaires. From this research, it was realized that there were some truths towards the factors and these findings were collected from 6 informants who supported the research with their personal opinions and views towards the rising issue. |
