| Summary: | This research aims to describe folklore or Tangon Liwan Dusun tribes and identify the role of women in the village Liwan ethnic arts and cultural uplift. It focuses on the village you Liwan there in three selected areas in Tambunan Sabah. This study used qualitative methods in collecting and analyzing data retrieval. Apart from interviews with women hamlet of Liwan information relating to the history and folklore obtained by collecting data from the State Archives. The results of this study found that folklore or Tangon still handed down from generation to generation even if the story has changed over time. This is done by women to the younger generation more interested in storytelling Tangon delivered. |
