description The Islamic banking system has become a competitive and viable substitute for the traditional banking system. Islamic banking is a banking system that respects Islamic law and is referred to as Shariah law. Muslim banks are founded on joint risk and profit, as well as the assurance of equity based on economic activity or asset. The rise of Malaysia's Islamic banking sector has enhanced Islamic financial innovation. In Islamic Banking, there are several Islamic Finance products such as Al-Ijarah (lease), Al-Mudharabah (profit sharing), Al-Musharakah (partnership), and financial institutions, which are very much flexible, creative, and have many choices to create Islamic Finance products.
