Description
Summary:The Math is Easy 2.0 was conducted by the College of Computing, Informatics, and Mathematics Studies at UiTM Cawangan Negeri Sembilan, Kampus Kuala Pilah for one day on January 5, 2024, with the session lasting two hours. The workshop was covered various aspects crucial for exam success, including problem-solving techniques, time management strategies, and effective study habits. The participants included those enrolled in pre-science and diploma programs, specifically under codes Intensive Mathematics 1 (MAT037), Mathematics for Pre-Diploma I (MAT013), Basic Mathematics for Pre-Science (MAT083), Business Mathematics (MAT112), and Pre-Calculus (MAT133). This workshop served as an effective platform for empowering students with the knowledge and skills necessary to excel in final exams. The workshop aimed to equip students with effective techniques and strategies to improve their performance in mathematics exams. The primary objective of this workshop was to provide students with early exposure to effective strategies for answering questions in final exams. The workshop aimed to empower students to approach exam questions with confidence and competence by imparting key skills and techniques. The facilitator conducted a mock exam to simulate real exam conditions and assess students' application of the strategies learned. Feedback and guidance were offered to help students identify areas for improvement and refine their exam-taking skills. The mock exam was a valuable opportunity for students to familiarise themselves with the format and types of questions commonly encountered in final exams.
