| description | First of all, we would like to introduce our project. It is has been named as Young Coconut Opener. Nowadays, people be inclined to use ‘parang’ to open young coconut. Actually, using ‘parang’ is very dangerous and can cause injury to the user. Other than that, it will take some energy and time to open young coconut. Futhermore, by using it to cut the young coconut, coconut water will spilled out. This will be wasteful. Today, there is no special tool that has been created to open the young coconut without using physical movement. There is only a tool that has been created to make a small hole at the coconut to put straw into it. But, we still can not eat the coconut kernel. So, we design our project to overcome this problem. Our main part of our design consist motor, body, coconut holder and the driller. Firstly, we on the switch of the machine and the drill will rotate on the young coconut until the slice of young coconut is open. This project will be useful to user that can save time and energy because it uses motor (on/off) to open young coconut. |
