description Breast cancer is one of the dangerous and most common disease among Malaysian women. Unfortunately, the survival rate of breast cancer among Malaysian women are still low. This is important to explore the factor that affecting the survival rate. A sample of 427 patients from Hospital Sultanah Nur Zahirah (HSNZ), Kuala Terengganu who were diagnosed in the year 2013 to 2017 has been taken as respondents. The first analysis was conducted to investigate a survival rate of breast cancer based on age, ethnic, stage and morphology. The second analysis is to determine the factor that are associated to the survival rate of breast cancer. The result shows that the survival rate based on age group, the highest probability of survival rate of breast cancer is older age followed by young age. For the ethnic, the highest probability of survival rate of breast cancer is Malay. On stage, the better survival rate is stage 1. Besides, on the morphology, the best survival rate is invasive lobular carcinoma. Based on the log¬ rank test, all the factors are significant. Based on the analysis for the risk factor association, all the variable ethnic, stage and morphology are statistically significant association between survival rate breast cancer.
