However, there are heritage mosques that have difficulties to conserved and sometimes they are left abandoned or in a poor condition. This research is more focusing on the heritage mosques in Penang with the aim to analyse the conservation of heritage mosques in UNESCO World Heritage Site, George Town in Penang. The objectives of this research are to identify the heritage mosques, to determine the conservation of heritage mosques and to determine the mosque elements affected in conservation of heritage mosques in UNESCO World Heritage Site George Town Penang. In order to achieve the objectives, qualitative method of study will be applied by doing observations to the elements in the mosques that have been conserved. |
