Summary:In the village of Batu Puteh, a small village in South Sulawesi, Indonesia, there is a Bugis Christian community rich in cultural heritage and traditions. In this environment, ancient Bugis cultural values are merged with Christian teachings and practices, forming a unique and valuable cultural identity. This research investigates how Bugis culture and traditions are reflected in the homes of the Christian community in Batu Puteh Village. Utilizing a qualitative approach, it analyses the elements of traditional architecture, religious practices, and family traditions that are still preserved in these homes. These findings provide profound insights into the harmonious relationship between Christianity and Bugis cultural heritage, as well as the significant role of homes as spaces where cultural values and traditional beliefs continue to thrive and evolve in the daily lives of Bugis Christian communities in Batu Puteh Village. This research contributes significantly to the understanding of cultural richness and social dynamics in the context of minority communities in Indonesia.
