These both articles related about how small public library that are restricted in size of resources and contribution that able to survive with the obstacle in digitization of audio visual material that are related to local heritage. There also come with the issues where problem occur in preservation of information that no longer used and their way of digitization in “The Public-private partnership case study in digitization of audiovisual heritage wrote by Bogdan Trifunovic. By using a research that have been done in Institution in Flanders (Belgium),in second article, “Challenges of digital preservation for cultural heritage institution wrote by Tom Evens and Laurence Hauttekeete, librarian have to implement new technologies, equipment and practice in their daily task. The study shows that the public libraries or any organization should give more focus to their old collection of audio visual. |
