This paper focused about the conservation and preservation of audiovisual material (digitization). The preservation includes film, magnetic material, and google as a metaphor, photograph and microfilm. The audiovisual is important to preserve because to preserve the cultural heritage of digital information in general and to prevent natural disasters. In both of paper discussed about the effect of storage environment, new challenges to quality care, Audiovisual threat to heritage, and the skills gap emerging. The article concludes with recommendations and observations to make difficult choices. The both of article also highlight the important issue about the factors and the storage that effect the preservation of audiovisual. |
