Teluk Intan offers a unique blend of oldworld charm and modern attractions that make it a must-visit destination.
The most iconic and historical marvel is the Leaning Tower of Teluk Intan or Menara Condong Teluk Intan. Over the time, the soft ground under Menara Condong Teluk Intan caused the tower to tilt, giving it a distinctive lean just like Pisa. Constructed in 1885, this pagoda-style structure was originally a water tank designed to supply the town during droughts. Today, visitors can explore this historical marvel, learning about its architectural quirks and enjoying panoramic views of the town from its upper levels. During weekends, a lot of activities around the area like night markets, special events, and a place for locals and visitors to hangout and enjoy the night scenery of the Menara Condong. |
