| Summary: | This academic discourse course exposes students to musical forms, styles, genres and other dimensions of composition in theoretical approach, through lectures, peers' presentations and invited guest speakers' presentations. Students will be assessed through case study (analysis), inquiry-based learning and collaborative learning which emphasis scientific-analysis skills (MQA LOD 6) in form of individual written report analysis assignment and verbal presentation and verbal communication skills (MQA LOD 5) in form of group final presentations. At the end of the course, students are able to deliver ideas clearly and articulately in verbal communication form and able to display structured and analytical thinking in scientific-factual form. |
