| Summary: | This final project for the Masters Information Technology Program focuses on a
system intending to assist school teachers in dealing with the school student
disciplinary system. Disciplinary records which are usually made on cards are now
stored into a central database using Microsoft Access and Visual Basic .
Records can be made of all students in the school concerned according to class.
Relevant particulars of every student are stored. Types of disciplinary problems are
listed and users only need to choose them from prepared list boxes provided.
Choice of disciplinary problems will generate demerit marks to indicate the
corresponding seriousness of each problem committed. The system can generate
letters to parents as well as students concerned. It will print student particulars when
and as required. Up to date disciplinary reports can be generated and produced
instantly at the touch of selected buttons.
The system will be user-friendly whereby teachers will only need to choose a required
operation through the use of attractive buttons. The system will be using the window
