Description
Summary:This study presents the enhancement of the traditional Design Thinking framework by integrating the KhAIR: Khair (goodness), Khalifah (stewardship), Amanah (trust), Iqra' (knowledge), and Rahmatan lil-'Alamin (universal mercy). The enhanced Sejahtera Design Thinking framework aims to foster ethical awareness, faith-based reflection, and purposeful solutions. The framework was tested among school students facing chronic absenteeism, using a modified empathy map aligned with the KhAIR values. Findings show that students gained deeper self-awareness and motivation to return to school, indicating the potential of the framework to transform perspectives and behaviour through value-driven design.
