Therefore, this study is to examine the factors contributing to online purchase fraud in Malaysia such as consumer online shopping behaviour, e-commerce technology, the virtual quality of network, e-commerce law, and hours spent online. 500 questionnaires were distributed through Google Form targeting people in different states in Malaysia using the judgement sampling techniques. In this study, several analysis techniques have been used to test hypothesis such as descriptive analysis, scale measurement, inferential analysis and multiple linear regression. The result indicates that consumer online shopping behaviour, e-commerce technology, e-commerce law, and hours spent online have significant influence on online purchase fraud whereas the virtual quality of network has insignificant relationship on online purchase fraud. |
