The thesis focuses on biomedical application as such the study is in effective of a bone replacement or regeneration using a foreign material to be induced into the human body. Hence material selection during bone. modelling is important before the study is done. Modelling and analysis of the bone is carried out in Computer Aided Design (CAD) software. Utilizing similar or a more effective and convenient software, Finite Element Analysis (FEA) runs in line with proper allocation of boundary conditions. Material selection has to be input and applied to the model before FEA as it is essential to determine the mechanical strength of the bone model whether it is stress, strain, shear forces, torsional forces, etc. Whereas failure of the bone model during FEA is mostly due to the weak material selected. Journal articles related to this paper is discussed thoroughly where related material of study and interest are being utilized for the success and completion of this project. The journals as cites regarding the stress-strain distribution of the bone, mechanical stimuli behaviour of the bone, bio-compatibility of the material selected to model the bone, treatment and composition of the material for remodelling and other types of journal which is useful for the study. The paper discusses the methodology in which the 3-Dimensional model of the bone is done, material selection and the FEA is discussed. Step by step procedure, results, analysis and discussion on the findings is noted in detail as per chapter. Discussion on improvising for near future study is also produce so as to share the possible adjustment could be made. Major chapters of this paper are properly distributed for the easy of future studies. 2024-04-23T00:52:10Z 2024-04-23T00:52:10Z 2019 Resource Types::text::Final Year Project https://irepository.uniten.edu.my/handle/123456789/31906 en application/pdf
